The Shumsky Differences
WBENC – Certified Women’s Business Enterprise
Global Capabilities (IGC International)
Shumsky is a founder and 1 of only 5 promotional companies in the U.S. with ownership in IGC Promotions. IGC Promotions (International Advertising Gift Promotions) is the premier global promotional products organization in the world with a presence that covers 52 countries, guaranteeing our global approach with local service.
Level 1 PCI Certification
One very important advantage to working with us is our Level 1 PCI DSS certification. In today’s world where identities are stolen and credit cards are exploited, Shumsky strives to stay at the front of protecting our user data. This means users’ sensitive information is protected when browsing and making purchases in our online stores. Though many of our competitors will boast “secure” online stores, very few are certified.
Industry Partnerships (Peernet & Industry Top 50)
The PeerNet Group is an alliance of leading Promotional Products and Marketing Distributors with locations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. By coming together as an alliance, our individual companies are able to offer our clients the best service, the most creative ideas, competitive pricing and on-time delivery.
Shumsky ensures the products we source and the decorating materials we use are designed and manufactured so any risk of physical harm to our customers is reduced or eliminated. All products are manufactured to meet any applicable regulatory standards for safety, labeling, environmental, and any other legally required standards.
Our 65 Year History
Our rich history dates back to the 1950’s, when Hy Shumsky and his wife, Elsie, founded Shumsky with $50.00, a few catalogs, a card table and two chairs in a 10 foot square room. Hy believed he should be involved with every order from start to finish – typing and billing orders, collecting payment and even hand delivering local orders to his clients, he did it all. Hy continued to work for the company until his death at the age of 98.
