SHUMSKY BRINGS HOME THE SILVER IN NATIONAL PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS COMPETITION
Dayton, Ohio February 16, 2004 / Steve Falknor of Shumsky received a Silver Pyramid award in the 46th annual PPAI Golden Pyramid Awards competition sponsored by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI). Out of hundreds of entries, twenty-three winners were recognized in front of their peers at a ceremony held in January during the PPAI Expo 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This competition is judged by effective use of promotional products in business and institutional marketing programs. Winning campaigns feature promotional products that best relate to the advertising client, its products and services, and to the overall theme of the marketing campaign. Gold, silver and bronze awards are given for first, second, and third place respectively.
“It’s a great honor to place in this competition – you are competing with the best of the best”, said Steve Falknor, Account Manager for Shumsky. “My entry for this year was one of my favorite campaigns from last year and my client is very pleased, both with the results it brought for their advertising dollars, and for the award”. Falknor has been with Shumsky for 17 years and an Account Manager for the last three. Shumsky has been named one of the Top 100 Promotional Agencies in the Country by PROMO magazine for the last 5 years.
Promotional products are decorative articles of merchandise usually imprinted with a company’s name, logo or message, and utilized in marketing and communications programs. A $15.6 billion industry, promotional products include advertising specialties, premium, incentives, awards, trophies, business gifts and commemoratives.
