SHUMSKY Launches New Promotional Keepsake Pillow

Dayton, OH: Shumsky, a locally owned PROMO Magazine Top 100 promotional products agency, is launching the new patent pending In My Heart™ Keepsake Pillow within the funeral home industry. The idea came from within the Therapeutic Pillows division at Shumsky. "Seeing how patients and their families developed such an emotional tie to our patented therapeutic pillows in their recovery process, we felt we could also provide an emotional outlet for families planning the funerals of their loved ones," says Michael Emoff, Chairman and CEO of Shumsky.
The pillow is a satin heart with a satin pocket that comes with a clear photo sleeve and marker. Families can write their names on the pillows or insert photos, drawings and other keepsakes into the pocket. The pillow can then be placed by their loved one and left in the casket or displayed next to the urn. As an alternate application it could also be kept by the family with the memorial card in the pocket. “After talking with funeral directors, it was apparent that this keepsake will help give a sense of closure and peace to families, especially children,” says Emoff.
