Shumsky Enterprises joins global network, refines reporting technology
(DAYTON, OH) Shumsky Enterprises announced today its acceptance into the International Advertising Gift Council (IGC Partners), the world’s largest international organization of promotional products companies. The exclusive organization includes only 49 partners in 46 countries due to its focus on each partner’s ability to bring unique services and benefits to the group. It also requires members to deliver industry-leading creativity and innovation.
“Shumsky has demonstrated tremendous value to IGC on several fronts – they are long-time innovators of technology and original promotional products,” said IGC board president, Ross Thompson, who is also president of UK-based Gift Point, Ltd, a founding IGC member. “Additionally, they bring outstanding full-service warehousing and distribution capabilities.”
Shumsky Enterprises houses a 35,000 sq. ft. distribution facility just south of Dayton on I-75. They also developed a proprietary ecommerce platform, Nova, which integrates with their shipping and tracking software so that they can manage global distribution for online corporate stores of branded promotional products and apparel. “We launched our first online store in 1996 and have since built the Nova Platform with increasing functionality over time,” said Shumsky CEO Michael Emoff. “Today, we manage millions of transactions across a wide variety of national and international customers.”
Emoff is quick to point out the honor he feels being selected as a member of IGC. “We’ve been aware of IGC for some time and the caliber of the companies associated with the group,” he said. “Being named a partner brings a high level of expectation that we welcome.”
One of the premier tools that Shumsky brings to IGC’s global capabilities is their Shumsky SpendTracker™ reporting tool.
