SHUMSKY Joins local Home Based Arts USA, Inc. to Educate our Kids

Dayton, OH: Shumsky, a locally-owned PROMO Magazine Top 100 promotional products agency has teamed up with the local non-profit organization, Home Based Arts USA, Inc. (HBA) to enrich the education of children throughout the U.S.
HBA was founded in 1993. The goal of the organization is to uplift and educate children through creative programs. "Our mission is to enrich the lives of youth through the arts, history, and sciences, both at home and at school" says William Bell, director and founder of HBA.
Shumsky offers HBA marketing and sales support beginning with the Learning Activity Book Train Without TracksT: Secrets of the Underground Railroad.
This book highlights HBA's series focusing on African-American subjects for elementary and middle school students. These learning activity books are designed to help bridge the gap on topics that do not have in-depth curriculum coverage. "We exhibited at the Ohio School Board Association tradeshow in Columbus this week, and the interest from the teachers and superintendents was overwhelming. In Ohio, we have secured over 150,000 students in 100 school districts that will be given these books and standards based teachers' guides," said Michael Emoff, president of Shumsky. "Our process is primarily driven by our ability to link corporate sponsors to the districts that are interested, and have those sponsors fund the production of the learning materials. Everyone wins - the students learn about major historical events they might not have otherwise, the sponsors invest in the education of our youth and gain brand recognition."
