Caring & Sharing - Community Outreach

optimist

As the holiday seasons rapidly approach, thoughts often turn to those less fortunate & how we might be able to advance the growth of our community by sharing our goodwill.

Shumsky Enterprises will be supporting the Dayton Chapter of Optimist International in their canned food drive benefiting local families in need. Donations of non-perishable canned food items will be collected in each department beginning Monday, October 10, 2005 through Tuesday, November 1.

At the close of the collection, Shumsky will match all canned food items donated by employees with an equal donation of additional canned food items.

The Optimist Club will be distributing food baskets to Dayton families for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
